| Moving Pictures Magazine hits Manhattan for this year's Tribeca Film Festival. Founded in 2002 by Jane Rosenthal, Robert DeNiro and Craig Hatkoff in response to the September 11 attacks, the festival has since been a launching pad for many films, actors and directors. Tribeca was created not only to give budding filmmakers an opportunity to share their work with a broader audience, but also to promote New York City as one of the predominant sources of filmmaking. MPM gets a front row seat and takes an inside look at this year's festival with one-on-one interviews, film reviews, feature stories, photo galleries and even articles written by the filmmakers themselves offering insight and meaning behind their own projects. —KC Ifeanyi |
