Why work with younger guys and companies?
What do you think it is about soccer, that enables it to transcend the borders it has? Is it in the simplicity of the game?
Is there a distinction to be made between the love of the game or the heart of the game, as opposed to the power of the game?
You mentioned that the origins of the game came from a working class mentality?
Part of the film focuses on access to the game being denied to Iranian women in terms of seeing the sport played. Is that a generational thing, do you think, or is it a political thing?

Is that the mentality of the soccer federation, or the mentality of marketing people?
Do you think immigration plays a large role in the following of soccer in the United States?
Do you feel more like a storyteller when doing a narrative film and more like an observer when doing a documentary film?
A lot of people have reported that this is now the Golden Age of documentaries. Do you believe that is true?
How important are film festivals in the process of getting a documentary film known?
With the popularity of the 7up series, has that put you in a place of mentorship for younger documentarians?
Do you keep a close relationship with any of those filmmakers?
Why did you start in the filmmaking industry to begin with?
Are there periods within your range of work that have become romanticized for you?
Are there any documentarians whose careers you follow?

What was your favorite movie this summer?
