For your film Planet B-Boy, how did you first discover this battle of breakdances in a small town in Germany?
How did you choose which countries to visit in the lead up to the competition?
Was there a primary film influence that got them to start breaking in the first place - films like Breaking or Flashdance?
What was it that got you into breaking?
Do these guys around the world, from Japan or Korea for example, think breakdancing never died? Or do they feel that they're the ones keeping it alive?
Do you feel breakdancing is used to address issues of racism, or that they use it as a way to communicate or distance themselves from others?
Have b-boys felt it necessary to manage the relationship in people's minds of their art and the hip-hop and gangster rap cultures?
Have you stayed in touch with the people in the film? If so, how has that relationship developed?
Are you going to target specific communities around the world?
How was the feeling of the audience the other night? Was this the first time you screened the film in front of a large audience?
What's one of the best questions you've been asked while here at the festival?
Many of the people in this film seem to have the impression that if they win the competition, they'll be able to receive a viable career. Has that actually been the case?
What does being in Tribeca mean to you?
Do you think the Battle could be held in this small town in Germany, or do you feel that now it will need to be held in bigger venues?

After getting a look into the mind of the filmmaker
(see MPM's Guest Contributors),
