So, Kabluey is somewhat based on personal experiences. You spoke a little about this last night at the Q & A, but could you please elaborate on it a little more?
So: writing, directing and acting. Were you always going with the triple threat?
Did you have to convince producers you were the right guy for the role?
You had a showing at Sundance as well, and, having that experience, did that pay for the LA Film Festival? Did you feel that they were chalk and cheese, not really the same kind of deal?
Kabluey is a story of a family, but in the background there's this everpresence of the war in Iraq. Was the film ever more one than the other?
